La bambina vigile del fuoco
sa tenere le mani a nido
per proteggere la fiamma
camminare pianissimo
perché il tempo resti acceso
sa passare il fuoco alle sorelle
di mano in mano.
Dicono “il secolo il secolo”
ma la bambina cammina
sulle punte dei secondi
passa la fiamma alla testimone
soffia sulle sue dita ardenti.
Das kleine Feuerwehrmädchen
weiß, wie man ein Nest aus Händen macht,
um die Flamme zu schützen,
Wie man ganz langsam geht,
damit die Zeit nicht erlöscht,
sie weiß, wie man das Feuer an die Schwestern weitergibt,

The little firefighter girl
knows how to make a nest with her hands
to protect the flame
to walk very slowly
