Linda France lives in Northumberland. She has published ten poetry collections, including The Toast of the Kit-Cat Club (Bloodaxe 2005), Reading the Flowers (Arc 2016), Laurel Prizewinner – The Knucklebone Floor, (Smokestack 2022) and Startling (Faber & New Writing North 2022). She edited Sixty Women Poets (Bloodaxe 1993) and won the 2013 National Poetry Competition. Linda is a recipient of a Society of Authors Cholmondley Award and was named Environmental Poet of the Year 2022-23 in the Michael Marks Awards.
