Linda France lives in Northumberland. She has published eight poetry collections, including The Toast of the Kit-Cat Club (Bloodaxe 2005), book of days (Smokestack 2009) and Reading the Flowers (Arc 2016). She edited Sixty Women Poets (Bloodaxe 1993) and won the 2013 National Poetry Competition. Her latest work, The Knucklebone Floor, was part of her PhD on Women, Landscape and Ecology. Linda is currently Climate Writer with New Writing North and Newcastle University. She is a recipient of a 2020 Cholmondley Award.
